ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the third respondent to issue patta in his name in respect of the property situated in Survey No. 353/5, Meenakshipuram Village, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District, by considering his representation dated 02.06.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Murugan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.D.S.Nedunchezian, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents. By consent of both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.It is the case of the petitioner that the above mentioned property belongs to him under a settlement deed dated 11.12.2024. Based on the

said document, the petitioner sought for issuance of patta by submitting the representation before the respondents on 02.06.2025. The same has not been considered till date. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The leaned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner will be considered on its own merits within the time stipulated by this Court. 5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 02.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
