O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's written representation dated 18.05.2023 and pass appropriate orders to restore the pathway to the petitioner's land situated in S.No.135/1, at Upparu River Bank, Agalanka Nallur Village, Lalkudi Taluk, Trichirappalli District.

2.Learned Counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the present case he has already sent a representation to the first respondent not to construct a culvert abutting the pathway leading to his patta land. Since the said representation is pending consideration, he has filed the present Writ Petition. 2/5

3.However, the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the said culvert has already been constructed and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Writ Petition.

4.Considering the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, since the culvert has already been constructed, the mandamus as sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted by this Court. However, as regards any encroachment of the petitioner's land is concerned, the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the same before the appropriate forum.

5.Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. There shall be no order as to costs.
