O R D E R

The writ petitioner filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant permission for conducting a vehicle campaign and signature movement for prohibition of alcohol and creating awareness of alcohol consumption, scheduled on 25.06.2023 from Karungal to Thuckalay, by considering petitioner's representation dated 13.06.2023.

2. Mr.B.Nambiselvan, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents. By consent, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the above said representation that was made by the petitioner was rejected on the ground that the proposed place to conduct vehicle campaign is heavily congested and traffic area. Further he would submit that they are ready to consider the representation, if the petitioner give a fresh representation by mentioning alternative place.

4. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation incorporating alternative place, which may be suggested by the third respondent herein. The second respondent is directed to consider and dispose the above said fresh representation of the petitioner by imposing any conditions, immediately.

5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
