Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission to perform Kalinaya Nadana Natiya programme of "Panguni Festival" at Sri Aranmanai Kaliamman and Shri Bhagavathi Amman Temple in Perumalkoilpatti, Athur Taluk, Dindigul District, dated 02.04.2017 based on the Petitioner's Application dated 06.03.2017 and 09.03.2017 within the period stipulated by this Court. For Petitioner : Mr.Ananth C.Rajesh For Respondents : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Kalinaya Nadana Natiya Programme in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus.

2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. 3.It is seen from the records that on 06.03.2017 and 09.03.2017 the petitioner has given representations, but the same have not been considered. 4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representations dated 06.03.2017 and 09.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
