This Writ Petition has been filed, seeking a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to forward the Petitioner's appeal petition dated 7.6.2011 to the third respondent for disposal and consequently to direct the third respondent to dispose of the appeal within the time stipulated by this Court without considering the delay. 2.Heard the submissions made on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court.

3.The case of the petitioner is that the Petitioner was working as Sub-Inspector of Police at Thattaparai Police Station in Thoothukudi District and a criminal case was registered against him and was suspended from service on 11.2.2010 by order of the second respondent, dated 19.2.2010 and after a detailed enquiry, he was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

found guilty and was dismissed from service on 19.5.2011. Against the said order of dismissal, the Petitioner has filed a departmental appeal before the second respondent on 7.6.2011 and since the said appeal did not evoke any response, the petitioner is before this Court with the relief stated supra.

4. The counsel for the respondents would submit that it is agreeable for the respondents to consider the appeal of the petitioner and pass orders thereon.

5.In view of the submission, the respondents concerned is directed to consider the appeal of the petitioner, dated 7.6.2011 and to pass appropriate orders on the same in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already disposed of.

6.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
