ORDER

This revision has been filed seeking a direction to dispose of the case in DOP.No.90 of 2020 on the file of the Family Court, Tirunelveli, within a specified time fixed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner. Since the case is for a limited relief of early disposal, no notice need be sent to the respondent.

3. According to the petitioner, he has filed the said DOP.No.90 of 2020 on the file of the Family Court, Tirunelveli, for divorce on the ground of cruelty and desertion against the respondent / wife and the same has been adjourned continuously for more than two years for filing counter. In such circumstances, the petitioner has filed the present Civil Revision Petition seeking to expedite the trial.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the learned Judge, Family Court, Thirunelveli, to dispose of DOP.No.90 of 2020, pending on his file, as expeditiously as possible, in any event, not later than, six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, in accordance with law.

5. With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
