Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the Respondent to accord permission and provide adequate police protection for conducting "Aadal Padal cultural program" which is scheduled to be taken place on 23.03.2017 in connection with the Vurchava Festival of "Arulmegu Kaliyamman, Sri Bagavathiamman, Sri Muthalamman" at S.Mettupatti, Nilakkottai (Taluk), Dindigul District.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 17.03.2017 the petitioner has given a representation, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

representation dated 17.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
