Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent herein to give necessary police protection and permit the petitioner to conduct "Adalum Padalum" Cultural program during Sree Manthaiammankovil Panguni festival, Thirumalapuram, Andipatti Taluk, Theni District on 29.03.2017 and consider the petitioner's representation dated 16.03.2017. For Petitioner : M/s.Lakshmi Gopinathan for M/s.Polax Legal Solutions For Respondents : Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 3.It is seen from the records that on 16.03.2017 the

petitioner has given a representation, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 16.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
