ORDER

Since eight years have lapsed from the date of occurrence, and despite several opportunities, the petitioner is not able to trace the accused. They are now seeking an additional four months' time by filing this petition.

2. Taking all these factors into consideration, this petition is allowed. However, the extension is granted with a condition that if the proceedings are not completed within the stipulated time, the matter shall be transferred to the Central Bureau of Investigation for further investigation.

3. Post this matter after four months.
