Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant permission and protection for Adal Padal program perform in "Pongal Thiruvizha" scheduled to be held on 02.04.2017 at Arulmigu Sri Pathirakaliamman, Arulmigu Sri Mariamman Thirukovil at Palamedu, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation 11.03.2017.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting programme of Adalpadal in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 11.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
