PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents No.1 and 3, to provide adequate police protection to conduct the survey and demarcation of boundaries in the Petitioner's land in Survey Nos.120/1 and 120/2, bearing Patta No. 440, measuring 3 acre and 34 cents, situated in Thirumalnatham Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, on the strength of the judgment and decree in I.A.No.352 of 2020, in O.S.No.8 of 2019, on the file of the District Munsif, Vadipatti, Madurai District after issuing notice to the sixth respondent and other necessary parties, by considering the petitioner's complaint, dated 27.05.2025, within a time limit, as may be fixed by this Court.

The petitioner has filed this writ petition, seeking police protection for conducting survey of his property in Survey Nos. 120/1 and 120/2, bearing Patta No.440, measuring 3 acre and 34 cents, situated in Thirumalnatham Village, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District.

2.Mr.A.S.Abul Kalaam Azad, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for R1 & R3. Mr.F.Deepak, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for R2, R4 & R5. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that whenever there is a request from the survey officials, seeking police protection for conducting the survey of the petitioner's land, they are prepared to provide police protection.
