O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by K.K.SASIDHARAN, J.) The petitioner filed this writ petition for a direction to the respondent to allot Keelavalavu Panchayat by rotation to the General Category based on his representation dated 22 June 2016. 2.The counter affidavit filed by the District Collector, Madurai indicates that the Presidentship of Keelavalavu village Panchayat was reserved for General Category in 2006-2011. Now, it is reserved for General (Women) Category as per order in G.O.No.104, Rural Development and Panchayat Raj (PR-1) Department, dated 16 September 2016. There is no challenge to the Government order dated 16 September 2016.
3.In view of the Government order dated 16 September 2016, we do not find any reason to issue a Mandamus as prayed for by the petitioner. It is always open to the petitioner to challenge the said Government Order, if he is aggrieved.
4.The writ petition is dismissed with the above observation. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
