Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to grant permission to perform cultural event namely "Kiramiya Nadana Nigaltchi" (Aadal Padal) held on 26.03.2017 in connection with the temple festival namely "Narthamalai Sree Muthumariamman Temple" to be conducted in New Lorry Market Ground, Opp. to Parstal School, New Palace Road, Pudukkottai, as per the representation of the petitioner dated 19.03.2017. For Petitioner : Mr.S.T.Sasidharan Tamilkani For Respondents : Mr.K.Guru, Additional Government Pleader.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondents to give necessary permission for conducting Adalpadal programme in the place mentioned in the petition, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondents.

3.It is seen from the records that on 19.03.2017 the petitioner has given a representation, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the second respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 19.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
