For Respondent : Mr.R.M.Anbunithi, Additional Public Prosecutor PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.112 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/A2, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 328 of I.P.C. and Section 6(b) r/w 24(1) of Cigarette and Tobacco Products Act, 2003, in Crime No.112 of 2022 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The case of the prosecution is that the first accused was found in illegal possession of 50 pockets of Ganesh 701 Tobacco products. Based on his confession, the petitioner has been arrayed as an accused in this case.

CRL OP(MD). No.11103 of 2023 3.Heard. Perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

4.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the petitioner is having ten previous cases, which are similar in nature.

5.Taking note of the bad antecedents of the petitioner and the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case, this court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

6.Hence, the petition stands dismissed.
