ORDER

The petitioner/second accused has filed the Criminal Original Petition seeking orders to call for the records and quash the charge sheet in C.C.No.134 of 2015 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate - I, Kovilpatti, in Crime No.948/2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Kovilpatti East Police Station as against the petitioner concerned.

2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

3. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) would submit that the learned Judicial Magistrate - I, Kovilpatti, after completing the trial, has pronounced a judgment dated 31.03.2021, in C.C.No.134 of 2015, acquitting the accused A2 to A6, including the petitioner herein under Section 248 (1) Cr.P.C and as such, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.OP(MD) No.18285 of 2019 nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition.

4. Recording the above submission, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected Criminal Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
