ORDER
The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for the issuance of a writ of mandamus, to direct the respondents to cancel the patta standing in the name of one Sakthi, daughter of Mekhala comprised in Survey No.68/8, measuring an extent of 1 A 35 cents situated at Thalayur Village, Sivagangai District on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 09.06.2016. 2.Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner made an application before the second respondent on 09.06.2016 which is still pending.

enquiry and notice has already been issued for enquiry to the petitioner calling upon him to appear for enquiry on 06.10.2016. 4.In the above circumstances, the second respondent is directed to proceed with the enquiry and after completing the same, pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order after giving sufficient opportunity to the petitioner as well as to other rival claimants, if any. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
