ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking Mandamus, directing the third respondent to permit the petitioner for offering worship at Arulmigu Sri Veerasangili Madasamy and Sankili Madathi Amman Temple at Achampatti based upon his representation dated 17.05.2026.

2. It could be seen from the records that the petitioner herein had filed W.P.(MD).No.11431 of 2025 before this Court seeking the same prayer for the last year. The said Writ Petition came to be disposed of on 24.04.2025 restricting the right of the petitioner to offer his worship in the temple.

3. In view of the abovesaid facts, there shall be a direction to the respondent Police to provide police protection to the petitioner only for the purpose of offering worship at the temple. In case, if anybody indulges in criminal activities, the respondent Police is at liberty to initiate appropriate action in accordance with law.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands allowed to the extent as stated above.
