ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in DVOP No.28 of 2018 (renumbered as DVOP No.18/2018) on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Karaikudi, Sivagangai District. 1/3

2.When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners are the in-laws of the first respondent and during the pendency of this petition, the first respondent and her husband/A1 entered into a compromise and now they are living together. The said submission is recorded. 3.In view of the said submission, this criminal original petition is disposed of with a direction to the court below to dispose of the proceedings in DVOP No.28/2018 (renumbered as DVOP No.18/2018) within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and if the defacto complainant fails to appear before the trial Court during the said period, the trial Court may pass appropriate orders in terms of Section 256 of Cr.P.C. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
