: Respondents PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his wife without any legally sustainable complaint and to direct the second respondent to follow the guideline issued by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in D.K.Basu (1997 1 SCC 416) case in matters pertaining to arrest or interrogation. ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner and his wife. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent would submit that the case is pending against the petitioner's son, in Crime No.6 of 2012 for the offence punishable under Section 307 I.P.C and Non Bailable Warrant is pending. In that regard, the petitioner was called by the respondent police for an enquiry.

3.It is made clear that the petitioner is aged more than 60 years and he shall not be unnecessarily harassed by the respondent police in the name of enquiry. If the respondent police wants to seek any details from the petitioner, he shall be issued a summon in that regard.
