This petition is filed seeking for quashment of the impugned First Information Report in Crime No.45 of 2019 registered against the petitioner for the offences under Sections 143 and 341 of I.P.C. on the file of the first respondent.

2. When this matter was taken up for hearing, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the police have completed the investigation and closed the crime as "Action dropped" on 20.05.2019.

3. Since the very purpose of filing this petition has already been fulfilled on account of closure report, thereby, no purpose remains to continue this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
