Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to grant permission and protection for conducting Kabadi Tournament scheduled to be conducted from 24.03.2017 from 08.00 a.m. onwards till 25.03.2017 10.00 p.m. day and night matches to be held at Sports Ground at 1st Ward, Alanganallur, Vadipatti Taluk, Madurai District, based on the petitioner's representation to the respondent dated 18.03.2017.

ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a writ of mandamus. 2.Mr.K.Guru, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent.

3.It is seen from the records that on 18.03.2017 the petitioner has given a representation, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this writ petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 18.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
