ORDER

This Writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to grant permission and to provide police protection to conduct Aadal Paadal dance programme on 2.08.2019 from 8.00 pm to 12.00 pm in pursuant to the Kodai Vizha of Sree Muniyaswamy Thirukovil, situated at Bharathi Nagar Labour Colony, VOC Harbour, Thoothukudi, by considering the petitioner's representation dated 18.07.2019.

2. Heard both sides.

3.The grievance of the petitioner is that seeking permission and protection to conduct the Adal Padal Programme on 02.08.2019 in the above said temple, the petitioner made a representation on 18.07.2019 to the respondents and the said representation was not considered so far. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed for the aforesaid relief.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions would submit that now the respondents are ready to give permission to the petitioner to conduct Adal Padal Programme and due to some law and order problem, the petitioner would restrict the time for conducting the programme till 10.00 p.m.

5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondents are directed to grant permission to the petitioner to conduct the Adal Padal Programme by imposing necessary condition and maintain law and order problem.

6.The Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No Costs.
