O R D E R

This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 8 to ensure the petitioner's free and peaceful life at her native village Reguramapuram, Vilathikulam Taluk, Thoothukudi District and consequently direct the respondents 5 & 8 to provide adequate police protection for the petitioner and others, based on her representation dated 06.01.2016.

2. Heard the learned Counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 8.

3. Considering the nature of prayer sought for in this Writ Petition and without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the sixth respondent/Revenue Divisional Officer, Kovilpatti Division, Thoothukudi District to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 06.01.2016 on merits and in accordance with law and take a final decision within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the same to the petitioner.

4. With the above directions, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
