ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to give effect to the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette publication dated 26.04.2017 and change the petitioner's name as "C.Selvi" in the pension passbook and also direct the respondents to dispose the petitioner's family pension with other benefits and arrears by considering the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2018. 2.Mr.P.Gunasekaran learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.K.Mu.Muthu, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent. By consent, this Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the stage of admission itself. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner changed her name as C.Selvi from Mariselvam and also published the same in the Tamil Nadu Government Gazette. But the same has not been given effect so far. Hence the petitioner https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
made a representation dated 25.08.2018 to the respondents concerned. The learned counsel further submitted that it would suffice if the representation of the petitioner dated 25.08.2018 is disposed of, in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 4.In view of the limited scope of the prayer, without going into the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 25.08.2018 in accordance with law, after giving notice to the interested parties, if any, and pass appropriate orders within a period of one month from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, preferably on or before 10.11.2018.
5.With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
