O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) The writ petitioner seeks removal of the encroachment made in the water canal in 7th Ward, Sanjeevi Nagar, Thiruchirappalli District.

2.He has given a representation dated 26.10.2015. Since no action was taken, the present writ petition has been filed. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3.The third respondent is the competent authority to take action in the matter. The third respondent is therefore directed to enquire into the matter and if encroachment is noticed, action shall be taken to remove the encroachment after issuing notice to the alleged encroachers. Due process of law shall be followed. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4.The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
