PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For Anticipatory Bail in Crime No.14 of 2023 on the file of the Respondent Police. ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 417, 420, 120(B) IPC in Crime No.14 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that the defacto complainant is doing real 1/3

estate business. In the year 2022, one Sathyaseelan contacted him and offered him to arrange loan of Rs.20,00,000/- and demanded commission 2% and document chareg 2% as charges. The said person called again and asked him to give the document charges alone and convinced him to arrange the loan. Thereafter, he went to District Collector to meed one Elangovan and gave Rs.20,00,000/-. Thereafter, they did not turn up. Hence, the case.

3.Heard both sides and perused the materials available in the record. 4.It is seen that the petitioner is having three previous cases and hence, custodial interrogation of the petitioner is very much required in this case. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
