PRAYER :- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to call for the records relating to the impugned order passed by 3rd respondent dated 24.12.2024 and quash the same.

ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by D.BHARATHA CHAKRAVARTHY, J.) The writ petition is filed challenging the impugned order dated 24.12.2024.

2. The impugned order is an order passed under Section 6 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905. The petitioner has an efficacious alternative remedy of filing an appeal before the District Collector as against the said order. Since it is stated that the order in question was served only in February 2026, it is for the petitioner to file such appeal along with the petition to condone the delay.

3. With such liberty kept open to the petitioner, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
