Respondents Prayer:- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the petitioner's representations dated 24.02.2017 and 13.03.2017 and to conduct a Peace Committee Meeting in the Kandeduthanpatti Village to celebrate the temple festivals of Eluvakka Nachaiamman Temple, Kandeduthanpatti, Pudukottai on 08.04.2017 by all the villagers together with people and granting such other and further relief which this Court deems fit and proper in the circumstances of the case. ORDER

Admittedly there is no consensus among various faction in the Kandeduthanpatti Village with regard to celebration of Eluvakka Nachaiamman Temple festival, which is scheduled to be held on 08.04.2017. In this regard, the petitioner has given representations dated 24.02.2017 and 13.03.2017 to the first respondent and has come up with the present writ petition.

2. In the considered opinion of this Court, this Court cannot direct the first respondent to conduct the Peace Committee Meeting by way of a Mandamus. But, however since the representations are https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

before the first respondent, he may consider the same and take action in accordance with law. The writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
