PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue the death certificate of Mangalam Achi, W/o.Brammathevan @ Ramathevar,who died in the year 10.07.1944 at Keelakkadu, Mahilankottai, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, within a time stipulated by this Court.

ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to issue the death certificate of Mangalam Achi, W/o.Brammathevan @ Ramathevar,who died in the year 10.07.1944 at Keelakkadu, Mahilankottai, Pattukottai Taluk, Thanjavur District, within a time stipulated by this Court.

2. On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that some of the relatives are required to submit an affidavit, identifying the deceased person and the petitioner ought to provide other relevant details.

3. In view of the aforesaid submission, the petitioner is directed to re-submit the application along with two affidavits from relatives, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the respondents shall consider the

application and pass appropriate orders within a period of six weeks thereafter.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
