ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 and 2 to issue death certificate of the petitioner's great grandfather, namely, Brammathevan @ Ramathevar, who died on 12.05.1946.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that there is an objection from the third respondent, who is the pangali of the petitioner.

3. Therefore, the second respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner as well as the third respondent, conduct an enquiry after affording both parties an opportunity of personal hearing, and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above said direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
