ORDER

The writ petition is filed for a Mandamus, to complete the proceedings pursuant to the communication dated 23.03.2026 and to forebear the respondents from opening new TASMAC shop within the jurisdiction of at M.Pudhupatti, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District.

2. When the matter came up for hearing, Mr.S.Sivanesan, learned Standing Counsel taking notice on behalf of the respondents 3 and 4 would submit that as of today, there is no proposal to locate the shop in the said place.

3. Recording the same, the Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. [D.B.C., J.] & [R.P., J.] Index : No 20.05.2026 : No bala 2/4
