O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order was passed in Na.Ka.No.11/Ka.Aa.Ti.Va./2023, dated 16.06.2023, by the 3rd respondent and also seeking direction to the respondents to conduct Kabadi competition of Taluk level scheduled from 24.06.2023 at about 6.30 pm to 25.06.2023 at 6.30 pm Elu Itchimaram ground, Sungurampatti Village, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 19.06.2023, within a stipulated period as framed by this Court.

2.Mr.B.Nambiselvam, learned Additional Public Prosecutor takes notice for the respondents.

3.The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the 2/5

representation that was made by the petitioner, seeking police protection and permission to conduct Kabadi Tournament, has been rejected by the impugned order. Challenging the above said order, this writ petition has been filed.

4.In that order, it has been stated that no sufficient time was given to the respondent to consider the above said representation. Apart from that it is also stated that law and order problem may also be created by the parties.

5.However, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that without specifying the place and time, the above said representation has been made. If any fresh representation is given, they are ready to consider the same.

6.Let the petitioner give fresh representation to the third respondent, within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The same shall be disposed of by the third respondent immediately, on its own merits, in the light of the circular of the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu, Chennai in Rc.007301/Genl.I (1)/2019 3/5

dated 09.04.2019.

7.With the above said directions, this writ petition stands disposed of.
