PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to direct the respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.1212 of 2020 pending on the file of the respondent police within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and to file a final report in Crime No.1212 of 2020 pending on the file of the respondent police within a stipulated time that may be fixed by this Court.

2.The petitioner is the defacto complainant. Based upon his complaint, a case in Crime No.1212 of 2020 has been registered for the offence punishable under Sections 406 and 420 IPC. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that even after lapse of nine months, there is no progress in the investigation. Hence, this petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that investigation has been undertaken and they will complete the investigation within a period of three months and will file a final report before the concerned Court.

4.Considering the request made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, there shall be a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

Crl.O.P.(MD)No.13118 of 2021 After filing final report before the concerned court, compliance report shall be sent to the Registry.

5.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
