ORDER : The Court made the following order :- The petitioner/sole accused, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 323, 506(i) IPC 1/3

and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, in Crime No.72 of 2023 on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail. 2.The case of the prosecution is that on 26.05.2023, at about 04.00 pm., due to quarrel arose between the petitioner and the defacto complainant with regard to the taking drinking water from corporation pipe, the petitioner abused her in filthy language and also attacked her. Hence, the case. 3.Heard both sides and perused the materials available in the record. 4.It is seen that the petitioner is having eight previous cases. Therefore, the petitioner is not entitled for anticipatory bail and this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is dismissed.
