Respondent PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to grant permission and accord protection for conducting the Kabadi Tournament scheduled from 08.04.2017 at 10.00 p.m. to 09.04.2017 at 10.00 a.m at Pudur Kaliamman Temple Ground North Side, Nathipparai, Nanguneri Taluk, Tirunelveli District and for usage of mike set during the above Kabadi Tournament and thus render justice.

[Order of the Court was made by A.SELVAM, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to direct the respondent to give necessary permission for conducting Kabadi Tournament in the place mentioned therein, by way of issuing a Writ of Mandamus. 2.Mr.T.S.Mohammed Mohideen, learned Additional Government Pleader, has taken notice for the respondent. 3.It is seen from the records that on 15.03.2017 a representation has been given, but the same has not been considered. Under the said circumstances, this Court is inclined to pass the following order.

4.In fine, this Writ Petition is allowed in part without costs and the respondent is directed to look into the representation dated 15.03.2017 and dispose of the same within a period of two days.
