This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondents to grant permission to conduct peaceful March on 30.08.2016 at 9.00 a.m. from Panagudi Bus Stand to Moondru Silai and also to conduct public meeting upto 6.00 p.m. based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.08.2016.

3. In this writ petition, the petitioner has prayed for a mandamus to direct the respondents to grant permission to conduct

peaceful march on 20.08.2016. We are now in the year 2017. Therefore, this petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
