This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to provide police protection to life and limb of the petitioner.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submits that there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and respondents No.4 and 5 and they belong to the same community. A similar complaint has been lodged by the petitioner in the year 2022 and the same was enquired. The parties have also amicably resolved their issue and the same was closed in the year 2022 itself. Thereafter, the petitioner has lodged a present complaint through registered post on 04.07.2024 and the same has been received by the respondent police. Based on the complaint, the respondent police have summoned the parties and they have to enquire into the matters.

3.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side), this criminal original petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the respondent police and to co-operate for an enquiry. The respondent police shall also issue summons to the respondents 4 and 5 and find out whether they are causing any threat to the petitioner.
