Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue patta in petitioner's name in house property in survey No.62/4A1A total extend of 2400 sq.ft situated in Nathampannai Village, Pudukkottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District by considering the petitioner's application/representation, dated 17.05.2019. ORDER
The prayer in this writ petition is for a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the second respondent to issue patta in petitioner's name in house property in survey No.62/4A1A total extend of 2400 sq.ft situated in Nathampannai Village, Pudukkottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the petitioner's application/representation, dated 17.05.2019. 2.Heard Mr.J.Vishnu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.
3.By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself. 4.The petitioner, in order to get patta for his land at Survey No.62/4A1A total extend of 2400 sq.ft situated in Nathampannai Village, Pudukkottai Taluk, Pudukkottai District, made an application to the second respondent, dated 17.05.2019. the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, if the said application is decided on merits within a time frame, the petitioner would be satisfied.
5.I have heard Mr.M.Rajarajan, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, who would submit that, the said application of the petitioner would be decided by the second respondent on merits, within a time frame and order would be passed thereon.
6.Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following directions:- "that the second respondent is hereby directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 17.05.2019 and pass order thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order." No costs.
