....Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for issuance of Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to implement the 2nd respondent's order of revised pay scale to the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.340 dated 26.08.2010 which was followed in the 4th respondent's order vide his proceeding number R.Dis.TGMTLK/138/2024/A2 dated 01.02.2024.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to implement the 2nd respondent's order of revised pay scale to the petitioner as per G.O.Ms.No.340 dated 26.08.2010 which was followed in the 4th respondent's order vide his proceeding number R.Dis.TGMTLK/138/2024/A2 dated 01.02.2024

2. Heard K.P. Sankarakumarakurubaran, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.J.Ashok, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both parties, this writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioner herein had given representation dated 20.05.2024 to the respondents seeking to implement the second respondent's order of revised pay scale to the petitioner as per 3/7

G.O.Ms.No.340 dated 26.08.2010 which was followed in the fourth respondent's order dated 01.02.2024. Since the said representation has not been considered by the respondents so far, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2024 would be considered by the respondents within a time frame fixed by this Court.

6. In the light of the above submission, there shall be a direction to the respondents herein to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner, dated 20.05.2024 on its own merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the claim of the petitioner and it is open to the respondents to consider the same on its own merits.

7. With the above direction, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
