Respondents This Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 06.06.2016 and appointing the petitioner as Public Relation Officer in any one of their department on compassionate ground. ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to consider his representation dated 06.06.2016 and appoint her as Public Relation Officer in any one of the respondent departments, on compassionate ground.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner being a physically challenged person with three feet height is unable to look after herself, besides an insane brother, who is not able to sit and walk. Still, with great difficulty, the petitioner has completed her M.A and B.Ed. Stating all these facts, she has sent a representation dated 06.06.2016 to the respondents. Since the said representation having not been considered, the petitioner is before this Court. 3.

Be that as it may, this Court cannot consider the request of the petitioner, more particularly, this Court cannot issue a direction to appoint the petitioner as a Public Relation Officer on compassion ground, when the said post is recruited through a competitive exam conducted by the Government. The petitioner being a disabled person has to wait her turn to consider her case under the physically handicapped quota. As such, this Writ Petition fails.
