For Respondent : Ms.M.Anantha Devi, Government Advocate (Crl.Side) PETITION FOR ANTICIPATORY BAIL Under Sec.438 of Cr.P.C PRAYER :- For anticipatory bail in crime no.6 of 2017 on the file of the respondent police ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioner, who apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Section 498(a) of IPC and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961, in Crime No.6 of 2017, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. Heard both sides.

3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has submitted that already the petitioner herein has filed Crl.O.P.(MD). No.1462 of 2019 seeking anticipatory bail and the same was dismissed by this court on 14.02.2018. But the said fact has not been disclosed in this petition. has submitted that some other counsel has filed the earlier petition and the said fact is not known to the present counsel. 4.It is immaterial whether the same counsel has filed the subsequent petition or not. Only with the instruction of the petitioner the present petition could have been filed. When the petitioner seeking relief from the Court, he has to disclose the earlier petition but the petitioner has not disclosed earlier petition. Hence, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
