ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed for Mandamus, seeking direction to the respondents 1 to 3 to refer the matter to a peace committee meeting for celebrating the festival in Idi Vizhundaan temple situated at Ganapathi Nagar, Mappillaiyoorani Village, Thoothukudi District based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2026.

2. From the records, it could be seen that rival claimants are there for conducting the temple festival and the petitioner now seeks a Mandamus to refer the matter to a peace committee meeting. 2/5

3. In view of the aforesaid deliberations, the fourth respondent is directed to conduct a peace committee meeting between the rival groups touching upon the dispute with regard to Idi Vizhundaan temple situated at Ganapathi Nagar, Mappillaiyoorani Village, Thoothukudi District based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2026 and conclude the same within a period of four

(4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
