PRAYER :- This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 528 of BNSS, 2023, to directing the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner by frequently called over phone the petitioner to appear before the 2nd respondent police station under the guise of enquiry since the matter pertaining to the matrimonial dispute. 1/5

ORDER

The present petition has been filed seeking a direction as against the respondent police not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2. According to the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, he is in a living relationship with one Priyadharshni who is aged about 21 years. Since it is an intercaste relationship, the parents of the girl have lodged a complaint and they are harassed under the hands of the respondent police.

3. The learned Government Advocate(crl.side) appearing for the respondents submits that as on today, no complaint is pending as against the petitioner before the second respondent police and the petitioner has not been called for any enquiry.
