The petitioners with a grievance that as against the order of this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.75 of 2025, dated 06.01.2025, quashing the FIR in Crime No.96 of 2024, the respondent police has filed the final report, have filed this contempt petition. 2.Today, when this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, who takes notice for the respondent submits that the final report was filed through e-filing much prior to the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.75 of 2025, dated 06.01.2025 and the same was also recorded in the order itself. The trial Court taken the report filed via e-filing on file and it is now pending in STC No. 3 of 2025. In fact, this report was taken on file by the trial Court on 03.01.2025, even before the order passed by this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No.75 of 2025, dated 06.01.2025.

3.In view of the submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that the final report was filed through e-filing and the same was recorded in the order of this Court in Crl.OP(MD) No. 75 of 2025, dated 06.01.2025 itself, this Court is of the view that no contempt has been made out in this petition. Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed. The petitioners are at liberty to challenge the final report in the manner known to law. 20.06.2025 Index:Yes/No Internet:Yes/No vrn 3/5
