ORDER : The Court made the following order : The petitioners, apprehending arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 498A and 406 IPC, Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Woman Act in Crime No. Not known of 2021, seeks anticipatory bail.

2.The prosecution case is that the first petitioner has harassed his wife / defacto complainant along with other petitioners by demanding dowry. Hence, the complaint.

3.Considering the nature of allegation, i.e., it is matrimonial dispute, this Court has referred the matter to the District Social Welfare Committee, through the respondent police. 4.Today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the first petitioner and the defacto complainant agreed to have mutual divorce before the Family Court and based on the same, the case has been closed.

5.Recording the said submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this petition is closed.
