PRAYER : Contempt Petition filed under Section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act, to punish the respondents herein for their deliberate and wilful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in W.P. (MD)No.12846 of 2014, dated 17.09.2014.

Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the 5th respondent to count 50% of service of the petitioner as Part Time Panchayat Clerk from 24.03.1975 to 20.01.1999 for the purpose of pension and other retirement benefits. ORDER

The learned Additional Government Pleader produced before this Court, a copy of G.O.Ms.No.302, dated 10.10.2019, indicating that in compliance of the direction of this Court, the petitioner's pension is directed to be calculated by adding 50% of the service between 24.03.1975 and 20.01.1999.

2.The learned Counsel for the petitioner admitted that the Government Order, dated 10.10.2019 is in compliance of the direction of this Court.
