This contempt petition has been filed to punish the Contemnor/3rd Respondent for her willful disobedience of the order passed by this Court in Crl.O.P(MD)No.2323 of 2022, dated 08.02.2022. 1/4

2.This Court, by an order, dated 08.02.2022 in Crl.O.P(MD)No.2323 of 2022 directed the Contemnor/third respondent police to conduct enquiry on the complaint lodged by the petitioner after issuing notice to the petitioner and the 4th respondent and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3.Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent police would submit that as directed by this Court, an enquiry was conducted by the respondent police and the same was closed on 11.05.2022. 4.Recording the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this contempt petition is closed. 01.08.2022 Internet:Yes./No Index:Yes/no vsd 2/4
