ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and provide necessary protection for conducting the cultural program, namely, Adal Paadal program, on 22.05.2026 from 07.00 PM to 11.00 PM in connection with the Sri Karuppasamy Uchakaliyamman Thirukoil Vaikasi Pongal Thiruvizha Festival, Keezhkudi Village, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar District, based on the petitioner's representation dated 18.05.2026 pending on the file of the respondents.

Considering the averments made in the present Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to grant permission and provide police protection for conducting the Adal Paadal program on 22.05.2026 in connection with the Sri Karuppasamy Uchakaliyamman Thirukoil Vaikasi Pongal Thiruvizha Festival, Keezhkudi Village, Aruppukkottai, Virudhunagar District. It is made clear that the function shall be completed before 10.00 PM on the said date. The petitioner is also directed to strictly comply with the circular issued by the Director General of Police, Tamil Nadu/Head of State Police Force, Chennai-4, in Rc.No.007301/General I(I)/2019, dated 09.04.2019. 2/4

3. With the above observations, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
