ORDER

The petitioner has approached this Court that the respondent Police is harassing him under the guise of enquiry.

2. Mr.P.Kottaichamy, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) takes notice for the respondents and submits that the petitioner has lodged a complaint as against one Palanichamy and the same was treated as petition enquiry in CSR No.740 of 2025. As against the petitioner, the said Planichamy lodged a complaint and the same was treated as petition enquiry in CSR No.749 of 2025. According to the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side), there is a civil dispute pending between the petitioner and the said Palanichamy and it is at the stage of appeal. In these circumstances, both the parties have lodged complaints against each other and both the complaints are treated as petition enquiry and they are not harassing anybody.

4. In the event, if the complaints are treated as petition enquiry, the respondent Police shall conclude the same within a period of three weeks. In the event, if any offence is made out, the respondent Police shall register a case. In the meantime, the respondent Police shall not harass the petitioner during the enquiry.
