This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking quashment of FIR in Crime No.18 of 2021 registered against the petitioner for the offences punishable under Sections 294(b), 354(A) of IPC and Sections 11(1), 12 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2022.

2. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on account of disputes with the Management, the petitioner is unnecessarily made as scapegoat to this false case. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent, on the other hand, submits that 27 witnesses were already examined and the investigation is stated to have been completed and it is pending for the opinion of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor concerned.

3. At this juncture, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner sought permission to withdraw the case and made an endorsement to that effect.

Considering the submission and endorsement made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to approach this Court, if he is aggrieved by the charge sheet. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 03.07.2023 NCC :
